A Breast Cancer Diagnosis can bring a range of unexpected emotions, uncertainty and fear for the future, changes in personal and family relationships or financial hardship.

Most women will want access to information about their diagnosis and treatment options.

Imagine you suddenly discover that you are one of the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer during their lifetime in Australia. What do you do and to whom can you turn?

The Think Pink Foundation’s mission is to enable a better journey through breast cancer for patients and their families. Primarily, we do this by providing psychological, physical and practical support services through our unique state-of-the-art wellness centre called the Living centre which is located in St Kilda Road Melbourne.

The focus at the Living Centre is on wellness rather than illness and we accept clients from all treatment centres and at any stage of their journey – from initial diagnosis, through treatment and into survivorship.

All our support services are provided totally free of charge to patients including:

  • Counselling by highly qualified and experienced Breast Care Nurses
  • Free wigs to those clients undergoing treatment and who cannot afford one
  • Workshops on relevant topics including body self- image, treatment options and back to work transitioning
  • Walking Group, Yoga, pilates and Lymphoedema massage all delivered by highly qualified therapists and facilitators
  • Group support sessions for patients with qualified peer support professionals
  • A unique “Supporting Blokes” Support Group Program for the partners of Breast Cancer Patients
  • A fully furnished two-bedroom apartment which is provided free of charge to (VPTAS qualified) county-based patients travelling to Melbourne to receive their treatment.
